To promote the concept of HIV prevention and treatment among young people and to encourage them to make more use of HIV screening-related services.

I.The only way to understand your health status is through screening. Therefore, it is recommended that people who have sex should be screened for HIV at least once; people who have unsafe sex should be screened at least once a year; if there is continuous risk of infection (such as infection with STDs, multiple sexual partners, sharing needles, combined use of In case of persistent risk of infection (e.g., STD infection, multiple sexual partners, needle sharing, combined use of addictive drugs, etc.), screening is recommended once every three to six months.

II.the latest "HIV antigen/antibody combination rapid screening test", which allows people to be screened and wait only about 30 minutes for the preliminary screening results. The professionals then help refer people to linked health care and preventive services based on the screening results. In addition to shortening the window period and speeding up the diagnosis, it also shortens the time and cost between diagnosis and medication, allowing infected persons to receive early and appropriate treatment and reducing the risk of disease transmission. This year (112), the Department cooperated with 82 medical institutions nationwide to provide anonymous screening services, rapid initial screening and referral services for people with HIV. 14 of these hospitals provide "one-stop rapid anonymous HIV screening service" for those with positive initial screening results, providing rapid confirmation of the test and professional counseling and referral services.

III.In order to expand the reach of the disease, the Department also continues to offer the "AIDS Self-Screening Program", which allows people to obtain screening reagents at home or in a safe place through manual dispensing points, automated service machines, or by ordering online from supermarkets. For more information, please visit the "HIV Self-Screening Program" page (/Selftest).

IV.using PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis), which provides adequate levels of medication in the body. As of April 112, there are 90 designated HIV hospitals nationwide that provide HIV testing, health education, patient-centered medical care, and case care services to the public.
