This activity was led by Director Chen Guanying of the Department of Hotel and Guesthouse Studies, who led the students of the Four Brigade 1B Multi-Service Learning Program to the Yantian Eco-Cultural Village (formerly known as Anshun Salt Farm). Anshun Salt Farm was the first tile pan salt-making industrial area in Taiwan during the Japanese rule era, and the western part of the area was the "tile pan salt field" used for sun-drying salt, which was earlier known as the "Tienri Salt Field," which is an important cultural relic of the salt industry in the modern history of Taiwan. In 1983, the Tainan City Government announced the designation of the Tainan City Sicao Wildlife Reserve, and the Anshun Salt Farm is located right in the center of the reserve, where the characteristic architecture of the salt fields is fully integrated with ecological tourism. The Salt Farm experience includes the fun of pushing, harvesting and carrying salt, making salt braised soybean flowers, tofu DIY and colorful salt pot DIY, and visiting the natural ecology of the park to learn about the beauty of the Salt Farm's ecology and culture.
