After the end of World War II, the area was reorganized into the Anshun Field Office of the Tainan Salt Field Office of the General Administration of Salt, and it was not until the abolition of the General Administration of Salt in 1957 that the area was handed over to the Taiwan Salt General Factory, and it continued to produce salt until it was scrapped in R.O.C. 85. After the end of salt production, the area was transformed into the Yantian Eco-Cultural Village. In 1983, the Tainan City Government announced the designation of the Tainan City Sicao Wildlife Reserve, and the Anshun Salt Farm is located right in the center of the reserve, where the characteristic architecture of the salt fields is fully integrated with ecological tourism.
