The Command Centre has conditionally opened up the pooling of nucleic acids to designated institutions for self-funded nucleic acid testing, and has amended the "Open Public Application for Self-Funded Testing of COVID-19".

A. In accordance with the Central Epidemic Command Center for Severe and Special Infectious Pneumonia, a copy of the letter No. 1113800106 dated April 11, 111 (attached).
The center considers the efficiency of the test and reduces the burden of the public, and conditionally opens the self-funded test designated institutions to add COVID-19 self-funded nucleic acid pooling test, the relevant description is as follows.
(a) Applicable objects: People who have the demand for self-funded nucleic acid testing can go to the designated institutions for self-funded testing. However, if there is a risk of COVID-19 infection (home quarantine/home isolation/autonomous health manager) and other risky objects, the test will be conducted with a single test.
 (B) Examination fees.
 1、According to Article 21 of the Medical Act, "The standard of medical fees charged by medical institutions shall be approved by the competent authority of the city or county (city) directly under the jurisdiction of the government.
 2. The proposed price for self-initiated nucleic acid pooling tests is capped at NT$1,500 per test (including reagents, consumables, personnel equipment, and individual retesting fees for positive pooling test results). No individual re-testing fees shall be charged for positive pooling test results.
